Social Club

The Art of NYC, the Craft of New York Wine

3.jpg

Brooklyn Oenology (BOE), our first series founded by winemaker Alie Shaper, represents the convergence of our home state's wine and art – every vintage of New York wine features the work of local Brooklyn-based artists on its label. Social Club is a canned reincarnation of a favorite wine series within BOE. The name is a tribute to the “social clubs” formed in Brooklyn by immigrant populations in the 19th century, which served as meeting grounds for political and civil discourse, connection, and camaraderie!

Social Club comes in deliciously crafted white wine, rosé, and red wine blends and features the work of New York City street artists. Canned to enjoy on the go, it’s the perfect pairing for your next social adventure! #drinksocialclub

Can Art: Free Skate, by Brandon Cruz, @juicealoop, created using acrylic, enamel, and digitally Edited. This image is from a skate deck that was part of a skateboard series Brandon made for the 2nd Nature Skateboard Art Show. It's about the energy and grit of our youth –– our ability to be ignorant of adulthood and skate with a sense of invisibility.

Can Art: Sanity Through the Fog, by Dark Clouds, @DarkCloudsNYC (spray paint and enamel) The piece is one panel in what will become a much larger piece made out of 200 separate paintings. It should be completed for fall of 2021 and on display soon after. This inspiration of the piece is a beautiful Vermont evening after sunset the artless witnessed.
